Mom to Mom

Rarely do I like being photographed and for numerous reasons. Mainly because I’m a curvy girl and  I never look decent enough to take good photos (at least this is what I tell myself most of the time). Yesterday though I decided to step in front of our camera. It was not a special occasion or anything like that but just an ordinary weekend with our little family.  After throwing on some makeup and some eyelashes (I know right?!?) we ran and caught some beautiful light over near China Camp.

This is me in my almost everyday look (minus the makeup etc). I didn’t even do my hair other than washing it earlier in the day. I am FAR from model material or even looking my very best but for some reason, I Loved it!  It was who I was, doing what I normally do – looking like Luke’s Mom. There are days that I don’t even get a shower in (even though I have a 2 year old) and weeks where my hair is permanently in a pony tail but here I am  (I think my new shirt helped!).

Next month we will all be celebrating Mother’s Day. A day when we are showered with extra love through cards, gifts, and recognition for all the work that we do.

I would like to shower some Love to other Moms as well so we will be celebrating all month long with a few specials!

We feel every Mom should have beautiful photos of herself so our very first special will be a gift of a Lifestyle Session*. This will be for a session for the special Mom in your life.

To enter all you need to do is comment on this blog entry and tell us about your Mom or if you are a Mom your favorite Mom moment. (You can’t spell moment without mom;).

We will be picking the winner May 1st. We will also be donating the value of the session towards our Walk Now for Autism Speaks in honor of the winner.

It is a win win!

So please Facebook, tweet, or email this post and help spread the Love. We can’t wait to read all of your comments!

xoxo

*For this session location will be limited to Marin County only please.
